When visiting BVMNH you will see local Miocene (14-16 million years old) fossils from Shark Tooth Hill area.  In addition, there are African, Asian and North American animal mounts, petrified wood collection, Native American artifacts, gem and minerals, Dinosaurs, and an interactive hands-on science discovery center designed for children, but has something for all ages to enjoy.

BVMNH is the only museum in central California that has Anthropology, Archeology, Astronomy, Anatomy, Biology, Geology and paleontology all at one location.  The museum has over 14,000 sq ft of exhibits and displays.
